Our products have EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) that provide verified data on the environmental impact of the products.

Energy and material

We use modern production technologies that have low energy consumption and produce minimal waste. As a result, we make efficient use of energy and material resources.

Waste management

We sort and separate the waste in cooperation with a company that collects it so that the materials can be further processed. These are mainly wood, polystyrene, aluminium, sandwich panels.

Fuel consumption

We monitor and evaluate the driving style of all service vehicles using a GPS module, which is then communicated to individual drivers to reduce consumption.

Lighting, heating

We have set rules about lighting, for example we turn off the lights during breaks in production. We are gradually installing LED lights with lower consumption. We control the temperature in the production halls and offices centrally. We keep it at a level suitable for work, but we do not overheat or waste energy.

Social responsibility

Company culture

Company culture is a set of values, traditions, customs and behaviours that shape the environment, atmosphere and relationships between people in and outside the workplace.

Key elements of our company culture:

  • Transparency and open communication. We create an environment of trust and respect. Employees are informed about important decisions, have the opportunity to share their views and request information.
  • Flexibility, innovation, adaptation. We react to market changes and adapt to new conditions. This allows us to maintain a competitive advantage.

Energy and material

We apply the principles of equal opportunity to employees and suppliers, in the selection of employees, their compensation and career advancement.

We do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, race, origin, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status or any other personal characteristic.

We value the diversity of individuals with different experiences, opinions and abilities. Diversity brings benefits. Diversity of views and perspectives encourages innovation and creativity, helps overcome prejudice and enhances problem-solving skills.

Staff Development

We care about the development of our employees and support their professional growth. We invest in human capital to remain competitive. Employee development and training are a strategic priority for TOORS.

Training involves internal experts who transfer their knowledge and experience to their colleagues, and external experts and training institutions.

Working conditions and environment

We provide our employees with a modern, safe, clean and pleasant working environment so that they feel comfortable at work. People in manufacturing are facing physical demands, so we provide adequate protection, safety equipment and training. This minimises the risk of accidents and improves ergonomic working conditions.

Supporting the region and society

We help those in need. We support children and charitable activities. Any employee can suggest a sponsor; the suggestions are approved by the management.

Charitable donations are always made directly to a recognized charitable organization, not through another party or person.

These seemingly small benefits can have a big impact on employee satisfaction and loyalty, so they are an investment in the success of the company.

Openness in management and decision-making

We apply transparency in access to information and in management and decision-making processes. Open and transparent communication creates an environment of trust in which employees feel respected and involved in the company process.

Information disclosure: company goals and strategies, financial health of the company, team performance and management decisions.

Open communication: transparent communication between management and employees.

A clear decision-making process: employees have the right to know what criteria are used to make decisions, who has the authority to make decisions and what the consequences of decisions are.

Confidentiality: while ensuring transparency, it is also important to respect the confidential nature of certain information, such as sensitive personal data of employees.

Transparency in reporting

We adhere to the principles of responsible financial management and bookkeeping. We publish all financial statements and other required documents in accordance with legal requirements.

What is EPD?

An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is an environmental product declaration that transparently presents objective, comparable and third-party verified data on the environmental impacts of products and services from a life cycle perspective. The documents are based on LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), which monitors the entire life cycle of a product from cradle to end-of-life and possible recycling.

What brings EPD?

The EPD provides specific information on the environmental performance of products. This allows consumers, investors and decision-makers to better understand how a product contributes to the environmental burden.

The EPD provides a standardised framework for assessing the environmental performance of products. This allows consumers to compare different products and choose those with a lower impact.

Promoting the sustainability of production

Manufacturers can use the information to improve the product and innovate to reduce environmental burdens.

Transparency in the supply chain

EPDs can be used to monitor environmental performance along the supply chain. This again allows areas with greater environmental potential to be identified and targeted for improvement.
