Industrial Door TOORS Indy
There are many demands placed on industrial doors.
Principally, the doors must work perfectly not to slow
down the production cycle of the plant. The optimum
industrial doors function so well that you do not even
notice them and you pass them automatically. This is
just the comfort we can provide you with our industrial
door product range INDY.
Application
Optimum solution
The industrial sectional door TOORS Indy is the state-of-the-art product designed to meet the requirements and expectations of each individual.
Individual solution without compromise
Every industrial door TOORS INDY is tailored according to the building character and customer’s requirements.
Minimum space requirements
The sectional door opens vertically. The door construction provides maximum available space both in front and behind the door. Depending on the building characteristics, the door either rolls under the ceiling, remains placed vertically by the wall or copies the roof slope. The whole system is mounted behind the building opening and enables full use of the available opening width and height. Such a practical solution also reduces a potential risk of the system damage. Convenient controls for easy operation.
Safety complying with the European standard EN 13241-1.

Design & Panels
Design & Panels
Panels – Choose out of Two Models
The industrial door TOORS INDY is available in two models.
1.Standard
2.Protect with Hoesch Sectiotec panels
The panels are designed as sandwich panels
(thin sheet, insulation foam, thin sheet) and are
40 mm thick as minimum in order to provide
optimum insulation properties. Dangerous gaps,
occurring during opening/closing stages, can be
at some panel types covered by means of special
shaping of the panel nose
Standard
- Excellent heat insulation properties
- Sandwich panel, 40 mm thick
- Traditionally shaped panel “nose”
- Highly corrosion-resistant
- Strong core made of hard HCFC-free polyurethane foam
- High stability, robustness
Panels are characterized by high stability and robustness. The panels provide excellent heat insulation properties secured by a polyurethane foam layer. The panels are designed as sandwich panels and are 40 mm thick. Both sides of the Standard panels are covered with the Stucco surface, resembling the orange peel. The panels are available in six various colour alternatives; the inner surface of the panel is coated with RAL 9010 paint, i. e. very light grey. The panels can be optionally coated with the paint Plus, specially designed for industrial doors. The Plus paint is three times harder and provides even more effective protection against damage.
Stucco Pattern
Stucco is the traditional pattern which never
loses vogue and looks attractive even after
many years of service.
Variety of Panel Colour Shades
The panels may be coated to various colour shades to choice. The RAL 9010 or 9002 range hues are available; nevertheless, any hue of the RAL or NEC samplers can be ordered. The door coating can be either single- or double-sided.

Lift types
Preliminary Construction Activities
Each lift type requires the particular construction adaptations, ensuring the optimum operation of the whole system.
Lift Types of Industrial Door TOORS Indy
Standard lift
The standard lift is the prevalent rail system of the industrial door. The standard lift is installed in case the free space above the opening edge is between 420 mm and 1000 mm. Torsion springs are placed above the vertical part of rails. The horizontal part of rails can also be bevelled.
High Lift
When the free space above the opening edge is larger than 1000 mm, the high lift is a better solution compared to the standard lift (however, it can be also applied for lower lintels). The system ensures the optimum utilisation of the space above the opening, as the door rails rise strictly vertically and they arch just close to the ceiling. The high lift therefore provides more space compared to the standard lift installed in the identical opening.
Besides the width and height, the HL is also the significant indicator; it defines the distance between the lower edge of the rail horizontal part and upper edge of the opening. At the high lift, the springs are always installed above the vertical part of the rails; nevertheless, they can also be placed on the sleeve above the door opening. Such a solution provides easy installation and minimum requirements for preliminary construction adaptations and service. The horizontal part of rails can also be bevelled.

Vertical Lift
When the free space above lintel is equal to or larger than the opening height + 400 mm, the door without the horizontal part of rails can be installed. Such doors are fitted with the vertical parts of rails only. Torsion springs are placed above the rails; however, they can also be mounted to the sleeve above the lintel. The vertical lift solution shows the same advantages as the high lift system.

Low Lift
The low lift is a special door track system enabling installation of the door from the minimum lintel height of 200 mm. At such a low lintel, the torsion springs must be mounted in the back, behind the horizontal rails. To install the torsion springs in front of the lintel, the minimum distance of 330 mm from the lintel edge to the ceiling is required. The characteristic feature of the low lift system is a horizontal track composed of two rails securing more effective sealing of the door (upper section).

Explanatory notes to lift types
- SL - standard lift
- FSL – bevelled standard lift (following the roof slope)
- HL – high lift
- FHL – bevelled high lift (following the roof slope)
- HL-T / HL-L – high lift (with torsion springs above the lintel)
- VL – vertical lift
- VL-T / VL-L – vertical lift (with torsion springs above the lintel)
- LL-CE – low lift (with torsion springs in the back)

The automated sectional door, fitted with an electric drive and other accessories, enables safe and easy operation.
Shaft Drives GfA-ELEKTROMATEN
- High reliability and long lifespan
100 % quality control in each production stage. Every motor is tested on capacity and function prior to distribution.
- System solution for right functionality
All drives, control units and accessories are fully compatible and mutually tested.
- Wide range of drives and alternatives for the optimum solution
We are ready to tailor the optimum solution to suit your needs and requirements by means of the ideal combination of the drive capacity, type of emergency control, supply voltage, control unit and accessories.
- Emergency manual control
In case of a power failure, two types of the emergency control are available:
1. Rapid chain
2. Release
Motor Types

The sectional door motors are intended for direct
installation to the shaft. In terms of the door/motor
emergency control (in case of a power failure, for instance),
the drives can be split into two following categories:
1. KE MOTORS controlled by the integrated endless chain.
2. E MOTORS declutchable motors. In case an emergency occurs, the door shaft will detach from the motor and the door can be controlled manually. The door equipped with the E-motor must be also fitted with the spring failure safeguard
