The garage door TOORS Guardy has been designed to provide long-term service. The door panels are zinc-coated and the stability and solidity of the door is ensured by polyurethane foam inserted between two sheet layers. Although the door is quite robust, it can be easily operated even by a child and it is on no account dangerous. Thanks to the employed technology, the door nose protects the fingers from being trapped; neither you nor your children should be afraid of any injury. 

Panels TOORS Guardy – Safe and Protecting

The panels TOORS Guardy secure the effective protection against an injury. Your and your children’s fingers will be safe. The door is equipped with a multi-level protection system:

• Finger anti-trap protection prevents trapping and contusion of fingers between the door sections.
• The spring failure safeguard will prevent the door section from falling due to a spring failure.
• The side guides are covered and make it impossible to insert a hand or any other object between the lift profiles and the door section.
• Guides placed inside the vertical lift will prevent the persons in close vicinity from trapping.
• In case the door is electrically controlled, the maximum closing power is limited so that the door, when in contact with an obstacle, interrupts the closing process and starts to reverse immediately.

Woodgrain

The prevalent garage door pattern, emulating the structure of wood. Eye appealing when combined with the wood foil but preferred also with traditional RAL hues (mainly with white RAL 9010).

The look of stucco surface resembles the orange peel. Stucco is the traditional pattern which never loses vogue and looks attractive even after many years of service.

Plain

In the modern architecture, the plain pattern is preferred for its simplicity, mainly coated with RAL or NCS paints.

The garage doors TOORS Guardy can be fitted with three types of lifting. The individual lift type is selected based on the free space available around the door opening. Our experts are fully qualified to assess the available space and suggest the optimum solution.    

Available Lift Types

• Standard Lift

The standard lift is installed in case the free space above the opening edge exceeds 420 mm. Torsion springs are placed above the vertical part of rails.

• Low Lift (with springs on lintel)

The low lift with torsion springs installed on the lintel is the most common lift system mounted to the garage doors. The system enables mounting of the door, including the ceiling drive, from the minimum lintel height of 200 mm.

• Low Lift (with springs in the back)

The low lift with torsion springs installed in the back presents the system which can be installed from the minimum lintel height of 100 mm (manual control) or 130 mm (electrical control).

The garage door TOORS Guardy is electrically driven and fully automated; therefore you can
open it with ease and stay inside your car while opening. The door opens quickly but safely; in case the door contacts an obstacle, opening/closing action will be immediately stopped and the door will start to reverse in order to release the obstacle. The door opening speed can be individually set.

At present, we fit the garage doors with Tormatic drives, 
produced by the German manufacturer. The drives show
the excellent properties ensuring the smooth run of the door:

• The Tormatic drives show the high reliability and longlifespan. The sophisticated details and guiding pulleys areplaced on bearings.
  
• Silent and maintenance-free service. The toothed chain ensures the silent running of the door and the drivesare maintenance-free for the whole lifespan of the garage door.
• Fine-tuned system. Slow start and slow stop of the door saves the mechanical elements of both the door and drive.
• Security code. Radio frequency of 433 MHz and remote transmitters with a unique floating code KeeLog will protect you from unauthorised entry.
• Integrated safety system. The reliable electronic system, acting when the door is in contact with an obstacle. The door will promptly stop and release the obstacle.
• Extra quick door opening. The standard opening speed is 17 cm/s, the speed can be increased to 24 cm/s.
• Applicable for doors up to 14 m².
• Significant reduction of power consumption due to the enhanced stand-by mode. The stand-by mode power consumption is only 0.5 W.

All Tormatic drives, intended for garage doors, are tested and TÜV certified to comply with the applicable standards. Using the built-in DC motor, the drives are reliable, maintenance-free and extremely silent.

At present, the power consumption and environment protection are the high-priority topics. The stand-by mode power consumption of the electrical appliances, e. g. TV sets or refrigerators, is actively discussed. The GTA 701 and 702 NRG drives present the drive generation combining the state-of-the-art technology and high power efficiency. The drive is working only for several minutes per day; it remains in the stand-by mode for 99 % of the service time and consumes the power with no effect.  The new drive generation consumes less than 0.5 W while in the stand-by mode; the power consumption was significantly reduced and, simultaneously, the environment protection enhanced.

Tormatic drives – for each tailor-made door

The Tormatic drives are available in several models depending on the required compression and tension force. The drives are fitting for the door up to 6 m wide, including the door with the all-wooden leaf, door with the side door, etc. Each door will be equipped with an appropriate drive ensuring reliable and smooth service. Thanks to the select function, the door closing time can be adjusted according to the customer’s needs.

Performance ranges by the door size:

•  GTA 701 force 600N, for door with the leaf up to 10 m2
•  GTA 702 force 700N, for door with the leaf up to 15 m2 (max. door width 5000 mm)

Remote control for your convenience and other functions

 The sophisticated remote controllers ensure you can
drive in and out of your garage with the utmost safety
and convenience. You drive into your garage simply
by pressing the button and protected from all weather
conditions.

The high-performance 2 and 4-channel remote controllers provide excellent service radius and allow you to control a variety of other systems and devices, e. g. turn on the lights. The remote controllers work based on the modern Keeloq principle using the automatic signal coding system.You can therefore lock your garage door as securely as your car. A new code is computed with every operation.

Pure high-tech – secure and interference-free transmission of the control commands takes place on the 433 MHz frequency which has proven itself for many years also in the automotive industry. The practical and compact remote controller operates based on the modern Keeloq coding system and you can easily attach it to your key-ring. The 2-channel remote controller is also available with a practical wall bracket.
